Our First Journey!
Hello! If you've just found your way here randomly, you're in for an exciting adventure. This is the blog for Medix Bus. Medix Bus is a bus in which the Biomedical Engineering students from Chattahoochee Technical College are working with Emory Hospital to build. Medix Bus is obviously a bus, however this bus is going to have a mobile clinic built inside of it. As exciting as that may sound, the most exciting truth about Medix Bus is that it's travelling to Ghana this summer and will communicate by satellite with Emory Hospital about the Diabetes and Hypertension pandemic in Ghana, Africa. Since we've only just begun this journey, this post will not be very long. However, there are more exciting events to come with Medix Bus, including a national television documentary, and a book about the bus coming soon! For now, enjoy the pictures and stay updated!
